Under the grand blueprint of the national rural revitalization strategy, Juwei Group's Yaofei Film and Television City Phase II project has reached an important milestone. On December 13, 2024, Huang Changxiong, deputy secretary of the county party committee and county magistrate of Lianshan County, Guangdong Province, and his party visited the project site, inspected the progress of the project, and gave full affirmation and support. As a key project in Guangdong Province, the Yaofei Film and Television City project is expected to invest up to 4.67 billion yuan, which not only injects strong impetus into local economic development, but also opens a new chapter for rural economic revitalization.

The inspection team led by Huang Changxiong, deputy secretary of the county party committee and county magistrate, arrived at the Yaofei Film and Television City Phase II project department. The on-site person in charge gave a detailed introduction to the latest progress of the project. As a key project of Guangdong Province, the launch of the Yaofei Film and Television City Phase II project marks the further deepening of the cooperation between Juwei Group and Lianshan County Government, and jointly promotes the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy.
After listening to the work reports of project leaders Li Shutang and Zhang Xirun, Huang Changxiong, deputy secretary of the county party committee and county governor, spoke highly of the hard work and achievements of the project team. He said that the Yaofei Film and Television City project not only solved the problem of idle housing for local farmers, but also transformed it into a homestay for rent through unified rectification, which promoted the income of local farmers, released surplus labor, and injected new vitality into the rural economy.
The total investment of the Yaofei Film and Television City project is expected to be as high as RMB 4.67 billion, with a total planned area of 666.67 hectares. With its unique ethnic culture and tourism resources, it has become the only characteristic ecological scenic spot among film and television cities and health towns in the country. The construction of the project is a strong response of Juwei Group to the "Guiding Opinions on Promoting the High-quality Development of Rural Homestays" jointly issued by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and other ten departments, and it is also a concrete practice of the rural revitalization strategy proposed in the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
Huang Changxiong, deputy secretary of the county party committee and county governor, emphasized that the smooth launch of the second phase of the Yaofei Film and Television City project indicates that Lianshan Yaofei Film and Television City will achieve more fruitful results in the future, contribute more to rural revitalization, drive more employment and entrepreneurship, build a good local business card, and give full play to its own global media resource advantages.
