All members of Guangdong Canghua Law Firm went to the Shazhou Red Base in Rucheng County, Hunan Province to visit and study, commemorate the martyrs and celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Party.
At about 10:00 am on July 1, 2024, all members of Guangdong Canghua Law Firm, led by the party branch secretary, came to the Shazhou Red Base in Rucheng County, Hunan Province with reverence and excitement to carry out the theme party day activity of "Remembering the Martyrs and Celebrating the 103rd Anniversary of the Founding of the Party". The purpose of this activity is to allow all members to deeply feel the great spirit of the revolutionary martyrs through on-site visits and learning, further strengthen their beliefs and pursuits, and inject new impetus into the legal cause in the new era.
The Shazhou Red Base is one of the important sites of the Chinese Revolution, and witnessed the glorious course of the Red Army's Long March. Here, we seem to have traveled through time and space, back to those arduous years, and personally felt the heroic and fearless spirit of the revolutionary martyrs who sacrificed their lives for justice. They used their lives and blood to build a great cause, laying a solid foundation for our happy life today. We deeply admire them, and have become more determined in our beliefs and pursuits.
Lawyer Lu Dongfang, who obtained her license in May 2015, is a partner of Guangdong Canghua Law Firm and a veteran party member with more than 20 years of party membership. She shared her insights and thoughts at the event. She said that as a lawyer, one must always bear in mind one's duties and mission, take the maintenance of social fairness and justice as one's responsibility, and provide the most professional and considerate legal services to the parties. At the same time, she emphasized that as a Communist Party member, one must always maintain loyalty and faith in the party and actively devote oneself to the cause of the party and the people.
During the visit, we listened carefully to the guide's introduction and gained a deep understanding of the historical background and revolutionary stories of the Shazhou Red Base. We were moved by the heroic deeds of the revolutionary martyrs and shocked by their great spirit. We deeply realized that only by keeping our original aspirations in mind and remembering our mission can we continuously promote the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
This activity is not only a profound ideological baptism, but also an improvement of team cohesion. Through on-site visits and learning, we have strengthened our beliefs and pursuits, and have also clarified our responsibilities and missions as lawyers. We will continue to bear in mind legal responsibilities, promote legal tools, and contribute to maintaining social fairness and justice. At the same time, we will also actively participate in social welfare undertakings and practice the original intention and mission of Communist Party members with practical actions.
